DIY Layered Bedding and Curtains for Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom is coming together finally! I wanted to share a little bit about the design. I posted on Instagram Stories, but for those of you who missed it here is a breakdown of the room.
The Bed
The headboard is actually a room divider. I chose to put it behind the bed to give the room an anchor. Since most of the furniture is darker I felt like this was perfect against the pastel and white shades. The bedding actually came from two places including Target for the pink comforter. It's gathered in a diamond shape pattern. Although it's no longer available, I've linked another one below. The foot warmer is a twin size reversible comforter that was my Nana's. I folded it where it looks like there are three layers to the bedding. Finally, the eyelet lace bed skirt hides storage from below.
Wall Hangings and Decor
The two pieces of art were part of my old bedroom and I chose to hang them next to the bed. My mom actually scoured flea markets and thrift stores to find them. I love the style and how they tie into the bedding's color scheme. I also have hats hung around the room and love this giant boater as a piece of decor. The curtains were a fantastic Amazon find. I have two windows which I'll show in a later post, but here is a glimpse of their soft billowy ruffles. I've linked an exact match here for you guys. Just click on the picture and it will take you right to Amazon.
