Shades of Wine
Top: Target (similar) // Pants: LC Lauren Conrad (last season, similar here and here) // Shoes: Nine West // Bag: Coach // Sunnies: Nine West // Lipstick: Maybelline
I am rotating out some of my softer shades of pink for lipstick and pulling out my deep reds, wine and burgundy shades as Fall is upon us. Makeup is one of the ways I tie my outfit together and I think the swipe of a lipstick can change your entire face. I really like Maybelline’s satin lipstick in this shade. I also recently tried Eve's Ready to Wear Lipstick from Teeez. It's a beautiful shade of deep red and the formula is so smooth.
I also am rotating back in some of my favorites from Fall and Winter last year. You may remember these pants I wore in black (here and here) from last season. A pair of leather leggings are so versatile and give an otherwise basic outfit a little bit of an edge. I loved that pair so much I ended up finding some in navy at the end of the season. This shirt was one I bought for the Christmas holidays last year. The drapey front gives it a sophisticated touch while remaining relaxed and really comfortable.
I decided to put everything together with a structured doctor bag (really like this one!) and pair of studded neutral high heels. Although I've worn a ton of flats over the Summer, lately I've been pulling out my shoes with a little height. Getting dressed up is so much fun and this is an easy to put together look for work. The last thing I added was a pair of tortoise shell sunglasses. Over the summer I wore pink acetate frames frequently and decided it was time to switch them out for a pair of classic frames. These from Nine West were the perfect option for Fall and a great price point.
