Summer is upon us and I am soaking up every minute outdoors! I just can't get enough sunshine these days. Summer for me includes eating popsicles, spending evenings on the patio, and endless sun at the pool. I still can't believe we are already into July, but I am getting so much enjoyment out of spending days with friends.
During the summer, I usually throw on sundresses or rompers. They are my go to for any sort of travel because they pack so easily. Plus, they just beat the heat when they are made out of breathable cotton. I picked this one up from Target, but found a whole plethora of others (like this one, this one, this one and this one or you can shop more below). Add a cross body and a pair of flats - there you have it! The easiest outfit ever. I pulled my hair into a side braid to keep the flyaways out of my face and the humidity at bay. If you are looking for a few other options try the halo braid (tutorial here) or a simple fishtail braid (tutorial here).
If you are by the sea, I suggest finding a local place that serves delicious seafood. Boiled shrimp and fresh oysters are a few of my favorite choices. Seafood is always the tastiest when you are near the coast. Make sure to ask the waiter what's local. Local seafood is always the freshest and a lot of the time caught that same day! Sip some cool drinks on the patio and enjoy the smell of saltwater and sea.
