One of the ways that blogs have inspired me over the past few years, is making something old new - either layering, or wearing an item like a dress - as a skirt. or a dress as a top. I like to get a lot of use out of the pieces I buy and tend to hold onto clothing for a long period of time. Lately, I've been going a little more casual. Yes, I'll still have many posts with fun dresses and heels. But I also want to incorporate more casual and classic looks to inspire the every day. Today I decided to throw a striped tee over a pink dress (last worn here). A pair of canvas lace ups are my new summer go to piece of footwear. They look perfect with dresses and cut off shorts. They are super comfortable and you don't have to wear socks with them!
