A Little Leather and a Little Lace

How was your weekend? I'm sick in bed right now right this post (Something that doesn't happen often but when it does, Oh boy!) I thought I'd share another look with you guys centered around this Coach bag I wore in yesterday's post. I mentioned how versatile this piece was and two different ways to style the bag. Today I thought it would be fun to show how you can mix it with other shades in a similar hue and give you guys a jeans look.
I actually wore this top with a pair of jeans and over the knee boots to dinner one night right before Christmas. The top has the prettiest lace material and I paired it with a pair of skinny jeans that night. To mix it up, I decided to add suede jacket and flared jeans for today's look. My shoes and jacket are slightly neutral in color while the top and bag are a little bolder. All of them work together to give a monochromatic feel. To get this look right, you have to add texture. The suede of the jacket plays nicely with the lace top and leather bag.
I plan on pairing the top with white shorts when the weather warms up and these leather slides from last summer. Although this was found last Fall at a Marshall's, I linked several other options below for you that are similiar in color or shape.
