Warm Summer Nights

I think it’s safe to say I love this dress. I’ve worn it now for three seasons in a row and it proves to get so many compliments each time (check out prior posts here and here). When you find something that works for you it’s nice to have it on repeat. Last night my daughter returned from two weeks away and we decided it was the perfect night to get dolled up and head to Sweet Paris (one of our favorite restaurants) for crepes. Over the past few months we go there often for dinner since it has gluten-free options for me an the cutest feminine atmosphere. They have several locations around Houston and then a new one here in College Station if you are looking for a delicious spot for brunch or dinner.

About this time of year I reach for flowy dresses and skirts since the humidity and heat are really high. Lately I’ve been pairing my summer dresses with mini bags like this one from House of Want. I love the quality of the purse and that it’s made of vegan material instead of leather. The gold hardware is also such good quality creating an expensive looking aesthetic.
