The Shoe Trend You Have to Try

Top: II In In Clothing (available on Amazon) // Skirt: G4 Sports (available on Amazon) // Shoes: Zara (also love these from Target) // Socks: Target // Convertible Backpack: Senreve

Ever wear flats and immediately get blisters from walking? I know I do! I walk a lot and love wearing my flats in lieu of sneakers sometimes. Especially when I’m in the mood for a cute girly outfit. I follow a lot of European fashion and have been loving the new Mary Jane and sock trend I’ve been seeing everywhere. It’s girly without being too childish. I think finding a sock that still hits the skinny part of your ankle is key to making this look work. I’m super short so I found that buying the largest size of kid’s socks actually works best on my body frame. I picked these cuties up at Target recently from the Kat & Jack line. They have tiny ruffles but no lace. I’ve also worn them with sneakers and a tennis skirt. They are feminine without being frilly and under $5! I paired them with my new favorite blue denim flats. I love the boxy toe and the elastic straps which makes it so comfortable to walk in! I wore this combo with a flirty ruffle tennis skort and a cozy mocha crewneck sweater. To give it even more of a European flair I added my Senreve Maestra convertible bag for clean lines and structure. This bag is so worth the money! I had my eye on it for years and finally pulled the plug. It’s made out of high-quality vegan leather and fits both a laptop and notebook in it. Definitely an investment piece but well worth it!
