Holiday Bucket List
As the holidays approach I thought I would share a bucket list of things to come over the next 6 weeks. I previously posted my Fall Bucket list and checking off the last two items which are to bake an appie pie and make some mulled cider. I've never made cider and my daughter has never made an apple pie from scratch, so we are adding it to our to-do list for this weekend.
While we are finishing off those tasks, I went ahead and created our next to-do-list here for the holidays. Of course, we are going to go Christmas light seeing and hay riding with warm hot chocolate in addition to the things mentioned above. However, I thought it would be fun to compile a list of all of those fun things I seem to pin on my DIY Holiday Pinterest board. I've always wanted to do a glitter photo shoot, so we are getting out the tulle party dresses and photographing for our Christmas cards.
I really love to decorate my Christmas tree and usually theme it with a color scheme. I've done pink, red and white. I've done one in gold, silver and pearl. This year we are adding more sea glass green and pale pink to a white pre-lit tree. I want it to feel like a feminine wonderland when you walk into our home. We are also planning on baking homemade cinnamon ornaments to hang up.
You are welcome to print my holiday list (or pin away), but I encourage you to think about how you plan to make your own memories or traditions this year. As much as gift giving is nice, it's important to remember what Christmas is all about. I'd prefer making memories any day over getting another outfit. As the holidays get busy, I suggest just picking one or two items every week to complete. Before you know it, you will complete the entire list and feel a sense of accomplishment!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on your Holiday Bucket List items!!!
