The Historic Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs

My daughter and I took a brief trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas a few weekends ago to stay at the Arlington Hotel. This iconic location was filled with the most beautiful marble staircase, vintage elevators, and high ceilings. The hotel dates back to the roaring ’20s when people would flock to the area for the Bathhouses. Nestled on federal land right across the street from Hot Springs National Park it’s a prime location! We stay for the entire weekend being able to walk to restaurants, shops, and the park. The hotel is also dog friendly which made it even more appealing.

Packed with history, to include celebrities like Al Capone (you can actually stay in the suite he would regularly rent), former presidents, musicians and so many more. The original structure built in 1875 burned in a fire and then rebuilt to hold over 500 rooms. The hotel lobby looks like a step back in time with beautiful green printed wallpaper and they had live music both evenings we were there! The old writing room has been converted to a Starbucks and you can visit the spa to take a healing mineral bath. The property also has a beautiful chandelier embellished dining room. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

While staying at the hotel I made sure to bring my favorite skincare products to do an in-room treatment. I figured with all of the inspiration from Bathhouse Row and the notable mineral water it was the perfect setting for a few facials. I started with the YOUOLOGY exfoliating mask to slough away dead skin cells, and then used the YOUOLOGY perfecting mask to detox my pores. Before getting a good night of sleep I went ahead and layered the YOUOLOGY hydrating mask. Since the humidity was much lower in the mountains than where I live, it was just what I needed to wake up refreshed.
