This gift guide is probably my favorite of all the gift guides I will be publishing this year! As an avid traveller and total wanderlust at heart I hold every item on this list close to my heart. Now that the world is opening back up, my weekends and freetime have been spent either on the road or plotting my next adventure. Whether it’s a weekend of backpacking or a lavish trip to a boutique hotel in the city, I know a thing or two about traveling prepared. Here are a few of my recommendations and you can shop the full list at the bottom of the post!

Get yourself some good luggage. It doesn’t have to break the bank, but you need at least the following: a suitcase, a backpack, and a duffle bag. Having those few items on hand will make your life so much easier. Pack in the same bags every time so you have a system and understand your size and weight limitations. I love a hard suitcase and pack it with packing cubes, clear pouches and usually carry a train case for toiletries. Don’t forget a little jewelry case! I love this one and have this one! As soon as one of my cases or bags gets damaged, I swap it in for a new one. Dragging a suitcase around the airport or on a trip with a broken zipper or wheel is no fun. Save yourself headaches and keep your luggage in good shape. Replace often.

Get yourself some comfortable, but stylish shoes. These mules I’m wearing are incredible and I have them in both brown and beige. They have a low kitten heel and transition easily from work meetings to dinner out. My other go-to items include Hunter Rain Boots (can be worn for all outdoor activities including snow) and Sam Edelman ballet flats. I have this particular pair in four colors and swear by them. Although I usually do carry a pair of running shoes, nothing says tourist like a pair of sneakers. Instead, I opt for flats or a boot most of the time.

A few other items I do not leave home without include some sort of small crossbody for a day to night purse. I also carry a foldable tote like this one. A snuggly coat does wonders for colder weather. Finally, make sure you bring headphones. I love my air pods and they drown out most noises while I’m on the go. I hope you enjoy the items I’ve picked out below as much as I do! Most of them I have the exact item or something similar and love!
