Getting dolled up for the holidays is probably one of my favorite activities during this season! There’s something about the swipe of a bold lip and adding a little sparkle to my accessories that put a serious pep in my step. Since the world decided to open back up finally, I plan on dressing to the nines from now until NYE! I’m wearing the most flattering retro dress with a navy and red floral print in these pictures. Although there are many things I wish I knew at an earlier age but looking back the biggest thing I would have changed was learning to trust my gut. As the new year is approaching and resolutions are being made I realize that one of the best things I’ve ever done to take care of myself was to refresh my beauty regimen. A few years ago I struggled with hormonal acne. It was so incredibly tough being an adult. It affected my confidence so much. After making a few simple changes and managing my stress level I was able to improve the health of my skin and reduce problems with acne. One of my dearest friends works with an online shopping cart with only non-toxic products. Over the past six months I’ve tried their hair care line called Sei Bella. Specifically I’ve fallen in love with their leave in heat treatment, mousse and hair oil to repair. My hair is shiny, healthy and continues to grow rapidly. Today’s post is filled with delightful tips and goodies that are both practical and pretty. I’ll start with the dress and then make my way through a few beauty tips for Spring I’ve been excited to share about. First of all, look at this daring blue dress? It’s made out of the softest cotton and under $25! I picked it up with my groceries when I was at a local l store but you can order it online here! For daytime I wore it with a woven neutral belt then transitioned by letting my hair down and relaxed my waistline by removing the belt. I added a fresh hibiscus from the garden just like I would if I were on vacation.
