Favorite Gifts for the Homebody
Satin Cami and Shorts Set: Amazon
About a week ago I traveled to the beautiful Texican Court to do a little Staycation at the hotel while I worked. Most of the time I work from home and getting a little change of scenery created needed invigoration. I spent most of the weekend on property only leaving for a few trips to the coffee shop and out for dinner once. The rest of the time I spent doing what I would normally do at my house in their beautiful hotel room. I will share more about my trip there in an upcoming post, but it was this very bathroom that inspired this gift guide. I am definitely one of those people who have to really balance being having a travel bug with being a homebody. I love the environment I created at my own home for work and relaxing. It’s quiet and cozy with feminine but modern touches. There’s always a cozy blanket within reach and a coffee cup on my coffee table, desk, or end table. The kind of place where you’d rather be instead of anywhere else.
After being a child who moved constantly, creating a cocoon of a home in my thirties was a dream come true. I love being home as much as I love seeing the world. They both bring experiences and memories are created. If you are homebody I know you understand the value of a fresh cup of coffee, devouring a good book while your dog (or cat if you are a cat person) is snuggled up next to you. Having soft scented candles and a warm low-lighting around your home makes it the perfect place on a drizzly day. I love putting on one of my favorite skincare masks and slipping into the silkiest of pjs for those days. Comfort, glamour and self care wrapped into one.
Below you will find a pretty legit list of my favorite homebody items. I put together a mix of pricepoint and styles for men, women, children, and items for the home. Whether you are a single girl in her twenties or a bachelor male in his forties… there is something on the list below for you. My favorite items include the neck massager (I bought for myself during Christmas last year), plush towels for getting out of a long soak, and this pair of satin jammies. A good coffee cup never hurts and if you’re just not sure what to get someone - go with a cozy blanket in a neutral color.
