It’s cozy season and I’m here for it. Ever since I found out I was pregnant I’ve been shifting into the comfiest clothes for both day and night time! The Bump needs room and finding items that have an elastic waistband or extra room in the middle has been key for comfort. I rounded up three cozy looks for you to spruce up your loungewear and grab a nightie for those special occasion nights when you just want to feel a little more glam. First up is this beautiful green floral satin slip that could honestly be worn with a jacket, cardigan, and heels for a date night! The material is not thin or see-through so it’s really appropriate to wear in public or private. I love the neckline and adjustable straps. Next up, is this adorable waffle knit three-piece set and it’s just so soft. I love the weight of the robe and it mixes and matches with the floral slip beautifully! Four Neutral Amazon Fall Looks

Fall is here officially and I thought it would be the perfect time to share a few basics you need for your closet right now! Right now the colors oatmeal, mocha, and mustard are in! As much as I love tons of color I also love to reach for the basics on days I want to feel cozy. A few things I recently added and love are this soft chenille oatmeal sweater, this mocha-colored sweater dress, a walnut faux leather skirt, an off-the-shoulder top, and a black long-sleeve basic tee! We're Pregnant!

It’s crazy to think it’s been 10 weeks since we found out we are pregnant and it has been the wildest ride of emotions! We found out right at week 4 when I missed my period and couldn’t believe it. I haven’t talked about it as much on the blog, but if you follow my journey on Instagram or Facebook you will see that Marshall and I have had a hell of a year. He came down with a virus last year and we spent most of 2022 getting him back to health. It was a really long journey but I’m so grateful to God that we made it through only to find out we would be having a kiddo together! What a blessing!

Things Changed When I Changed

Nothing in my life has been a product of chance. God gives us free will to walk the Earth and if we make a decision it has consequences one way or another. On March 22, 2019 I kissed alcohol goodbye for forever. I was at a place in my life where I was lost, miserable and completely heartbroken. It was at least a year of turmoil or more and I was in deep depression. Some of my friends will tell you I was a wreck. Others will tell you that they just couldn’t figure out what was going on. All I knew is that no matter what, the alcohol had to go. At that exact same time, I was in a relationship with someone who regularly drank and partied. I knew that I was on a path to sobriety but I had no idea the things I would be giving up when I made that rock bottom choice. Including that relationship and many more as the years would pass by.

Girl's Day in Salado While We Talk About Body Positivity

Last weekend we met in Salado, Texas at Greenfield Coffee to catch up and shoot these incredible dresses from friends at Wneedu on Amazon. They sent us each a dress to share with you! We both picked out our colors to fit our own personalities. I chose a bold leopard colorway and Tiffany went with a beautiful shade of deep mauve. Great style is available for everyone. No matter what your age or body type you have when you walk with confidence in your own skin a new sense of style seems to follow. That’s one of the things I love about our conversations!

An Afternoon Tea Party With Laura Ashley at The Stella

Wow! What a weekend! After taking this last year to really ground myself and work on transformation from the inside, I finally made it out for the Laura Ashley 70th Anniversary Event with Growing Up Texas! It was so incredible to meet Jennifer and Mike who restored a vintage Grand Station with Laura Ashley printed fabrics. The event was hosted at one of my favorite local hotels, The Stella and catered by Campfire Grill. The whole experience was out of a storybook and unfolded beautifully as we mixed and mingled on Saturday afternoon.
