Red Outfit Ideas for Valentine's Day This Year

Valentine’s Day whether I’ve been single or in a relationship is actually one of my favorite days of the year. Although I believe that love should be celebrated every day, I also find the holiday fun since it involves candy, colorful outfits, and a fantastic dinner with atmosphere. Whether you are going to be a party of one or you are looking for a hotspot around your city… a new outfit for the occasion always makes for a better day. My favorite local spot here in College Station is Porter’s at The George. I’ve been there alone, with family, and on a date with the most incredible experience every single time. If you are one that loves a great meal but hates to go out on holiday, I recommend booking a table the day before or after so you have a quieter experience or you can grab the meal to go. I love this whole ensemble for a date night. I paired this silky camisole (which I have in three colors I love it so much) with a sequin skirt I grabbed over the holidays (see this post). A simple pair of bow-embellished earrings, a tiny purse to hold my lipstick, and pumps are all that’s needed for a warm winter night in Texas. If you live in a colder climate, you can throw a pair of wool tights on, or swap the skirt for a pair of pants before layering a coat over the whole thing. A red lace camisole can later be worn over the summer with white silk pants and into the holiday season with a black cardigan. It’s such a great piece to add to your closet!
Last but not least, make sure you add a swipe of red lipstick.
