Hope Will Change Your Life
Three and a half years ago I decided I was willing to give up anything I had to to make my life better. I was no longer willing to let a single excuse get in the way of being the best version of myself. It was like I just couldn’t go on another day being chained to the things I had been chained to. So, I quit drinking alcohol and dove to the depths of my soul to figure things out. I completely surrendered. It was the hardest thing I ever did.
Over the course of the next year, my entire life would completely transform. I moved across the country and back four months later. I struggled to find steadiness but I didn’t give up. I took an inventory of my life and figured out patterns that got me to this point. I sought wisdom, books, yoga, and meditation. I changed everything. Not all at once, but over the course of the past three years, I have evolved into a better version of myself. I’m happy. Not exuberant happy, but a consistent joy. I know my worth and feel the calling to pass God’s love on to other people.
If you are in this same place I was a few years back, I’m here to share with you hope! The hope of a better tomorrow. Hope that you will take baby steps to a better life. Hope that you choose daily to become a better version of yourself, too because you deserve it! You deserve every wonderful thing you can imagine and you have the power to build it. When you change your mindset, you change your life. Hope is the mindset of the happiest people I know including myself. Hope is what carries you through the storm to the rainbow. Hope is what makes dreams come alive. Are you struggling with hope?
If you are, I challenge you to dive into the concept of hope. God’s love for us gives us hope! It’s such a refreshing experience when you realize you don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to even know where you are headed yet. You can lean on God’s love and find hope in your heart to figure out your dreams. Then, once you have the dream in place - make it happen with hope.
