Roaring 20's Glam at The Hotel 1928

Dress: Retro Stage // Shoes: Dream Paris // Earrings: Ettika

Yesterday I took a little road trip to Waco, TX to visit the incredibly elegant newly renovated boutique Hotel 1928. Designed by Chip and Joanna Gaines! The project was to restore a cornerstone building in downtown Waco, TX, and preserve the turn of the century hospitality. There are so many corners, nooks, and details to awe over as you explore this incredible masterpiece. There’s a library downstairs, lounges on the ground floor, a coffee bar, and a Brasserie where I had the most delicious baked cheese! There’s also 33 rooms and a rooftop terrace. Whether you are looking to stay overnight, spend the afternoon working out of the lounge, or just grab some food with friends you must stop by!

Recently, Retro Stage reached out to me and asked me if I’d be interested in sharing one of their 1920’s gowns. I thought visiting Hotel 1928 would make the perfect occasion with this gorgeous embellished 1920s-style dress. Each of the gowns designed by Retro Stage is made with the most beautiful detailing. I love how the dark overlay with just enough sequins for glam without looking gaudy embellishes the white formal-length gown underneath. I paired the look with these silver chandelier earrings (worn here and here on Instagram) and platform black sandals since the gown was on the longer side for my petite frame. Although this is not a maternity dress, there was plenty of room for my 6-month bump! This look would be perfect for a Winter wedding, Gatsby party, and NYE!
