For today’s look, I paired the cutest blazer and fleece-lined jeans from Luvamia available on Amazon. I threw on a V-neck tank top and my new favorite two-toned pumps that are so ladylike from Elizee’s. Designed with ultimate comfort in mind! I think this heel height is perfect for a workday or luncheon. I finished things off with one of my favorite black purses from Michael Kors complete with gold hardware that matches my Kendra Scott gold filigree earrings.

Read MoreIt’s finally Spring and I’m so happy about it! We’ve had such pretty weather over this past weekend it really got me excited about the next few weeks. On top of the sunshine, early Spring wildflowers are beginning to bloom. I decided it was time to put together a Spring capsule wardrobe. I’ve recently picked up a few basics and neutrals from Amazon that I wanted to share with you! Each piece fits like a glove and is made with incredible quality. Check out all my favorite finds below!
Read MoreI am so glad it’s finally Spring! The past few months have been incredible, but nothing is better than fresh blooming flowers and a beautiful breezy cool night. I love this time of year so much! During the daytime in Texas the temperatures rise enough most days so you can get away with a dress and sandals. Come nightfall, you’ll need a lightweight jacket or white blazer to stay warm. I have been eyeing this one from The Drop that’s under $80! I already own it in tan and think the white will be perfect for this time of year! You can wear it over dresses or layer over a button-up with jeans or shorts. It’s one of the most versatile options!

I love how classic it feels and immediately dress up almost any outfit! I shared a round-up of my favorite holiday dresses yesterday but thought velvet needed its own post so it could sit front and center. I recently ordered this beautiful skater-style fit and flare dress from Amazon. It is super affordable and comes in so many colors! I opted for a soft champagne shade that could transition from the holidays over to NYE. I paired it with a velvet blazer I’ve had for years and simple black patent heels. A tiny beaded handbag is just the right touch to store your cell phone and lipstick.
Read MoreWhat is fall without a little plaid? I don’t know about you, but I legit wait for autumn to roll around this time of year so I can bust out all my cozy pieces. Plaid is such a classic print (actually one of the few prints you’ll find in my closet) and as soon as the cool weather hits I pull out all of my plaid pieces. This blazer has some history to it - it was given to my grandmother by her sister. Then, it was passed down to my mom who then passed it to me. I absolutely adore and cherish it! I paired it with a bigger plaid print and my new favorite jeans for a very classic look. Add on navy booties and you’re ready to go. Below is a round-up of more of my favorite plaid pieces and a few plaid looks I’ve shared in the past!
Read MoreI don’t know about you but I’ve had to get a little creative on how I manage dressing for working from home while maintaining a professional appearance on ZOOM calls. I’ve been in the corporate space for over a decade and required to wear business professional for meetings. Fast forward to today and jumping on ZOOM calls in a full suit isn’t exactly comfortable when you will immediately get off a call and go walk your dog. Welp, time for a new dress code - essentially business on the top and comfy on the bottom. With a little creativity and a lot of stretchy pants you can achieve a comfy but professional at home look sure to fool any client or boss on a web conference meeting.
Read MoreI awoke this morning and the air was crisp and chilly. It felt so good to step onto my patio and feel a cool breeze sweep through. Texas is oftentimes cold in the morning and then warms up in the afternoons. For both Spring and Fall I like to layer jackets over tee shirts and tank tops so I can remove during the warm parts of the day. Three of my favorite pieces for Fall are included in today’s outfit - a simple neutral blazer, a pair of loafers and mom jeans. These pieces can be worn separately or together for the perfect fall outfit.
Read MoreLast week I attended a virtual yoga class and something incredible was said to me as we prepared to begin the session, Fall is a time for shedding things that no longer serve you. A time to discard baggage so you can bloom in the Spring. I realized in that moment I’ve been carrying a few emotional things for far too long and it was time to let them go. I believe the change of the seasons is a chance for us to develop and grow into higher versions of ourselves. Fall is when leaves drop and turn into warm golden tones. Fall is when the days shift to cooler and shorter. It’s a time to start moving indoors and harvest for the Winter. As I look to nature to draw inspiration I am reminded that Fall is also the time to evaluate what I need to clear out of my life to make room for growth in the future.
