Wallflower - An Easy DIY Project
The past few weeks I’ve been in a state of unpacking, organizing, and decorating my new home. I moved in about three weeks ago with a plan of action that unfolds more and more every day. I absolutely love getting to decorate and design spaces. In fact, I love it so much that’s what I went to college for! Funny how much I’ve used the degree in my regular life over the years. I’ve been sharing glimpses of the new place over on my Instagram (see this post and this post) but today I wanted to roll out a really simple idea for a blank wall or hallway on the blog!
I chose not to paint the walls of my new place and instead opted to use decals to create interest in different places. I found this adorable yellow and green option here on Amazon! You can use decals in a variety of ways to include on furniture, as a collage or spread them out as I did in this hallway to mimic wallpaper. As soon as I get bored with this look, I can easily change them out for something different! I think it’s a great idea for spaces like hallways, kid’s rooms, or playrooms. If you have a teen or tween you could easily update every year to match their current mood!
