Location: The Gardens at Texas A&M University
Wow! What a weekend! I just returned from a whirlwind in Vegas and am happy to be back in my routine again. As much as I love to travel, I also equally love being home. I’ll be sharing more in upcoming posts about what I wore and did over the weekend. Vegas is always a good time, however, I find myself spending a few days recovering from the desert, heat, and just all-around the energy of the city. I’ll be heading back there again next month, so if you have suggestions please leave them in the comments or shoot me a DM on Instagram!
I recently discovered the label La Maison Talulah and let me tell you I couldn’t be happier. The brand designs the most feminine dresses with the most delicate of details like the button-down bodice and tiered ruffle skirted on this dress. You probably remember this short floral dress I wore recently here and here. That one has the most beautiful cut and ruffles on the shoulders and sleeves. The fabric of both dresses was also impressive. Such quality! If you are looking for a few options at lower price points check out the shopping list below! I included a few from Amazon that is under $50!
I’ve had it on my to-do list to stop by The Gardens at Texas A&M University. It’s a really beautiful location next to one of the horticulture buildings. While I was there, I saw a ton of portraits being taken. You can tour the gardens, hang out on the patio, and don’t forget to stop by the overlook. It’s a treehouse-like structure overlooking the creek that runs behind the garden. I cannot wait to come back when it’s in full bloom. They also have a vineyard and several spots that are great for taking Instagram pics!
This time of year I usually have a sweater or jacket with me at all times. Being in Texas means it can get almost 90 degrees during the day and drop to 40 at night. I grabbed this adorable sweater from Anthropologie as a set and keep finding new things to pair it with. It has the cutest statement collar and I love the soft shade of tan. To pull the whole look together I wore my favorite pair of Sarah Flint flats (save $50 on your next pair using the code: SARAHFLINT-BATHREEHEELCLICKS) and a few touches of gold jewelry.
