Summer is almost here and I am so pumped! I love everything about the long days, late sunsets, warm weather, pool and beach time, travel, and generally the vibes everywhere you go. Texas is ridiculously hot so I have a few things I try to keep in stock at my house to help keep my makeup in place and skin clear from sweat. I also have a few new anti-aging body creams that are making a huge difference that I had to share! You can shop all of my favorites below!
Skincare Favorites
Let’s start with my favorite masks which include the YOUOLOGY Brightening Mask and Hydrating Mask. The brightening mask at night will help even skin tone. Apply and let it dry to a gold finish and then peel it off like magic. It’s loaded with Kakadu plum fruit extract, licorice root, and Vitamin B3 to help remove redness and brighten your complexion for no-makeup days. I always follow by hydrating my skin overnight in this mask. Also, don’t forget Rosewater toner for after sun and to help with keeping acne at bay. Finally, I love mixing a few treatment products like eye cream and serums to help replenish the skin’s canvas.
Make up Favorites
During the summer I spend many days without makeup but love being able to add a little to freshen up here and there. To start with I apply Younique’s TOUCH Behold Mattifying Primer which will prep the skin for handling even the most humid days. It will keep oil toned down on your skin and allow your makeup to stay on longer. It also will provide a barrier between your makeup and face. You can even wear it on no-makeup days, too! I follow with my favorite serum foundation with full coverage and anti-aging ingredients. Hair Care and body Favorites
This time of year I treat my hair with extra care. I begin my adding products that have extra conditioning elements in them like argan oil and coconut oil. I try to make sure anything that touches my skin, body and hair is non-toxic. Ever since I made a switch to cleaner products I have fewer problems with breakouts. I also love to slather on cream and body butter after being in the sun to hydrate! I love this one and this one for anti-aging. Totally helps with boob stretch marks and cellulite on the bum and backs of thighs. If there’s one product I’d recommend it’s the Acai Your Boobies. This stuff is crazy good.
